Canada also needs no quarantine for dogs and cats. What they do need are valid rabies vaccination and in this case valid means not more than a year old and no less than 30 days old. You will also need a health clearance certificate which is only valid for 10 days. If you are sending your bird they will have to be quarantined for a month in the United states at a government owned quarantine station. In Canada they require a house quarantine for 45 days and you must arrive with the bird (the owner).
